50 Simple Adventure Ideas That Won’t Break the Bank

3min read

When we think about going on an adventure we can often think it needs to be something big, wild and, well I guess adventurous.

But a reframe I had a while back is that this is not the case at all and we can still have adventures close to home that don’t have to cost a fortune.

At the time of writing (Nov 2022), the whole world is experiencing a cost of living crisis, life can feel pretty heavy and hard right now and it might feel difficult to inject some fun into your existence.

The list I’ve compiled has a general rule of activities either being free or costing up to £100 max (for 2 people), but I’ve not included any prices this was just my thinking as I was putting the list together. Some of these things don’t need to cost anything at all, and others will vary.

When life feels heavy, tough, or a bit stagnant it can sometimes feel hard to think of fun things to do, so hopefully, this list will take away some of the thinking for you.

It can be easy to add some adventure and spice into your world, to take you away from the mundane day-to-day rhythm that life can sometimes become.

We sometimes think that an adventure needs to be travelling to faraway lands, or dreaming up something wild and big. Below I’ve listed 50 adventure ideas that are a lot more accessible.

Try to add some of these things into your days or weeks and see how they make you feel.
